I want to take a moment to acknowledge the members of the Turtle Bay Resort team who were recently honored for exemplary performance at a conference of Benchmark Hospitality International, the company that manages our resort.

“BEST BOOTH AWARD” The Best Booth Award was voted on my by all Director Of Sales & Marketing in attendance at the Benchmark Hospitality Sales Conference.
I was even awarded the coveted “General Managers Award”! I was proud to accept this award on behalf of my entire team here at Turtle Bay Resort.
Benchmark, which operates 30 hotels, resorts and conference center properties throughout the country and in Japan, has managed Turtle Bay Resort since 2001 for resort owner, Kuilima Resort Company---a subsidiary of Oaktree Capital.
In 2007, the resort was also named among Conde Nast’s “Top 20 Hawaii Resorts,” and received two Gold awards from Meetings & Conventions magazine, along with several other industry awards.
The hotel, golf courses and restaurants provide nearly 800 jobs in the North Shore community and comprise a very successful business, as evidenced by our recent award and sales achievements. We have a very strong, experienced executive team at the helm and it is paying off. Our 2007 occupancy was better than it has ever been in the history of the resort; and 2008 is projected to be even better.
This is also a thank-you note—to our guests, and extended O’hana for your continual support of Turtle Bay Resort. The future looks bright, and we want to acknowledge your contribution to this bright future. As we say in Hawaii, Mahalo nui loa – thank you very much!
