Kalaeokaunaʻoa (Kahuku Point) Volunteer Workday
Join the North Shore Community Land Trust for its monthly community workdays to care for Kalaeokaunaʻoa, also known as Kahuku Point, the northernmost point of Oʻahu. Restoration activities include invasive species removal, native out-planting, and dune restoration, suitable for various ages and skill levels.
RSVPs are required. Meet at the The Ritz Carlton O’ahu, Turtle Bay parking lot on the Kahuku side near the helipad at 9:00 AM for a coastal hike led by a guide (~20 minutes).
Please bring:
- Reusable water bottle (min. 2 liters)
- Your own gloves and weeding tools (clean gloves and tools also provided)
- Reef-safe sun protection
- Comfortable walking shoes
